PepsiCo/Frito-Lay's Doritos is addressing midnight cravings with a special menu of food-truck-inspired meals from around the globe paired with classic Doritos flavors.

The Doritos After Dark program leverages ghost kitchens in the Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas and Phoenix markets.

From Dec. 16-21, consumers can order off the menu after 4 p.m. at DoritosAfterDark.com or through delivery partners Popchew, DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub.

Doritos After Dark Menu

Doritos After Dark was created in partnership with PepsiCo Foodservice Digital Lab and delivery startup Popchew, which works directly with CPG brands to develop inventive dishes. The limited-time, after-hours menu was inspired by fans’ own mashups on classic Doritos flavors, according to a news release, including:

  • Doritos Flamin' Hot Cool Ranch Corn Puppies: Triangle-shaped crunchy Korean corn dogs filled with cheese and beef hot dogs with ranch sauce to dip and crushed Doritos Flamin' Hot Cool Ranch chips on the side.
  • Doritos Nacho Average Nachos: Ground beef or chopped chicken paired with Doritos Flamin' Hot Cool Ranch-flavored tortilla chips or Nacho Cheese-flavored tortilla chips.
  • Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili Chicken Bites: Crispy chicken bites inspired by Japanese fried chicken with light breading and sprinkle with crushed Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili tortilla chips.
  • Doritos Cool Ranch Loaded Pita: A chicken kabob-inspired sandwich pairs tender roasted chicken with a yogurt sauce and Doritos Cool Ranch tortilla chips for crunch.
  • Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili Sammie: A banh mi-inspired sandwich with seasoned beef, Asian slaw, sriracha aioli and fresh cilantro, and dressed up with Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili tortilla chips.

"From introducing new flavors like Tangy Tamarind and Tangy Pickle to collaborating with the record-breaking Netflix series 'Stranger Things' in one of the biggest cultural moments of the year, Doritos is a brand our fans look to for bold new ideas," Stacy Taffet, senior vice president of brand marketing, Frito-Lay North America, said in the release. "By embracing the unexpected, Doritos After Dark has created another moment of inspiration and experimentation, inviting fans to experience Doritos' boldest venture yet."

Consumers can receive free delivery when ordering directly through DoritosAfterDark.com or the Popchew app. Consumers located outside of the delivery zones can create their own late-night meals with the Doritos After Dark recipes available on the dedicated Doritos website.

Pop-Up Experience

Doritos will celebrate its late-night menu on the longest night of the year, the Winter Solstice, through an in-person pop-up on Dec. 21 in Los Angeles. The one-night, seated event takes place in an underground tasting room and gives fans a chance to taste Doritos After Dark bites in a “vibrant, lounge-style” space, per the release. The event will include a triangle-themed interactive lounge, a Mtn Dew x Doritos bar, photo opportunities and other interactive experiences.

The experience is free and open to the public, but seats are limited. Consumers must visit DoritosAfterDark.com/RSVP to reserve a seat.
