Walmart Supports GSK Rollouts
GlaxoSmithKline is promoting two recently launched OTC products at Walmart.
In store pharmacy departments, a custom endcap display outfitted with a large header card merchandises “dual action” Advil, the first FDA-approved OTC combination of ibuprofen and acetaminophen in the U.S. A large panel on the right side of the endcap display touts the benefits of the new painkiller, while the left side of the display has shelves stocking the product, including “bonus packs” SKUs. The product also gets in-line support with a shelf talker.
On walmart.com, a category drop-down menu ad plugs the product and links to a dedicated e-commerce shop.
Walmart pharmacy departments are also outfitted with a header card touting new Voltaren arthritis pain gel.
