Walgreens' Mobile App Gets a Refresh

Walgreens in late June released a new version of its mobile application, offering what it calls a “fresh, new look and feel.”

Among the new features, according to the retailer, are:

  • an easier-to-use bottom menu
  • personalized updates on the home screen for account holders
  • a universal search bar

Among the other features the app continues to enable are:

  • prescription refills by scanning bar codes
  • a pill reminder
  • connecting with healthcare providers on via Walgreens' Find Care
  • printing photos from the device, Facebook and Instagram 
  • weekly ad browsing
  • coupon clipping
