Target Exec to Speak on Transparency at Path to Purchase Summit
Steve Lafferty, senior director of health and wellness at Target, will share his insights on how brands can work with retailers to offer a better health and wellness experience for shoppers during a May 16 session at the Path to Purchase Summit.
Target debuted its wellness icons in 2017 as a way to help shoppers make informed purchasing decisions. The icons help shoppers identify SKUs that are, for example, organic, bio-based, planet-based or vegan. Lafferty will discuss how this program fits within Target's drive for transparency and innovation across all of its owned- and national-brand consumer products.
At Target, Lafferty leads the development and execution of merchandising strategies and enterprise capabilities to accelerate growth related to health, wellness and sustainability. He has more than 25 years of retail experience in category management, retail healthcare and employee benefits.
The Path to Purchase Summit will be held May 15-17 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. For more information, visit the event's website.
