Spark Foundry, a global media agency brand within Publicis Media, has hired April Carlisle to lead its Commerce practice.
Carlisle joins Spark Foundry as executive vice president of commerce. She will be responsible for solidifying the agency’s vision for the critical role commerce has in delivering a competitive advantage for clients. She will leverage Publicis Groupe’s advanced commerce solutions to deliver holistic investment strategies for clients to drive profitable growth in the increasingly competitive landscape of e-tailers.
She will also concentrate on accelerating this critical area for Spark Foundry by further integrating the agency’s strategic commerce capability, industry-leading insights, and outcome-based omni-channel commerce solutions in all areas of media – with a focus on retailer media – content planning and optimization.
Before joining Spark Foundry, Carlisle most recently serving as vice president of shopper marketing at The Coca-Cola Company. Previously, she spent 24 years at Procter & Gamble in various sales and marketing roles of increasing responsibility working with most key U.S. retailers. She also previously served for more than half a decade at Arc Worldwide, Publicis Groupe’s lead shopper and retail agency, where she was a retail and digital strategy leader for the global shopper marketing practice.
Carlisle, a Path to Purchase Institute Hall of Famer and distinguished faculty member, additionally works as an adjunct professor at Northwestern University, where she teaches a shopper marketing graduate level class through Medill.
