The Path to Purchase Institute’s first Retail Intel webinar episode of 2022 kicks things off on Wednesday, Feb. 9, with a discussion on the emerging trend of the store serving as a community hub and what that means for the evolution of physical retail as shoppers return to stores.

Joining the Institute’s own editorial director, Jessie Dowd, for the conversation is Christine Sturch, global principal special projects design manager for Whole Foods Market;
Harry Cunningham, co-founder and chief brand officer of goodMRKT; and returning subject matter expert Dan Sabanosh, director of shopper marketing for Great Northern Instore. The three will share their insights on transforming brick-and-mortar locations into dynamic experiences that bring the brand to life, while facilitating human connection and community building to become part of the cultural iconography.

Interested attendees can register for Wednesday’s webinar, which will take place at 2 p.m. ET, as well as check out the full lineup of topics for the year and register for specific episodes online. Some upcoming topics include a look at how BevAlc, cannabis and coffee are changing the retail game in April, a deep dive into the grocery channel’s winners and challengers in June, and an examination of beauty retail trends in August.

Each Retail Intel episode will feature special retailer guests, offering dialogue about current trends and strategies that are driving innovation for the next era of retail.
