COSRX, a Korean skincare brand that has grown popular among American beauty buffs, is releasing its first collection of lip products at Ulta Beauty and

The collection currently spans four products (each priced at $19) intended to “smooth, plump, soften and quench lips,” according to a new media release. The products are:

  • Honey sugar lip scrub: A gentle lip exfoliant made to aid dryness and flakes and give lips a velvet texture.
  • AHA BHA vitamin c lip plumper: A glossy lip plumper infused with exfoliating AHA and BHA to dissolve dead skin and deliver a subtle plumping effect.
  • Full-fit propolis lip sleeping mask: An overnight treatment to hydrate dry lips with “honey-6 complex,” a blend of propolis, honey, royal jelly, beeswax and fermented extracts to restore suppleness to skin.
  • Balancium ceramide lip butter sleeping mask: A balmy formula infused with shea butter and “naturally derived ceramides,” to calm and quench dry, chapped skin.

Representatives at COSRX said these new launches reflect increased demand for lip products amid the COVID-19 pandemic as mask-wearing has led to a rise in “dryness, irritation and chapping around the mouth.” The K-beauty brand new lip launches were created to help solve this problem area by “buffing away dead skin and deeply replenishing moisture.”

COSRX, which offers cult-favorite products like the acne pimple master patch and BHA blackhead power liquid, made its U.S. debut a few years ago with a launch at Ulta Beauty as K-beauty trended upward. The skincare brand has since expanded to more retailers nationwide including, Dermstore and Amazon.
