Home Depot Rolls Out Bosch Appliances
The Home Depot has partnered with BSH Home Appliances Corp. to add the manufacturer's Bosch premium line of home appliances to its online and in-store product assortment.
“Bosch home appliances is proud to add The Home Depot, the world’s largest home improvement retailer, to our elite group of distribution partners,” John Iacoviello, senior vice president of sales, BSH Home Appliances, said in a media release. “Through this partnership, The Home Depot will broaden its selection of premium home appliances with an assortment of high-quality Bosch products that are engineered to simplify life and provide design options that are sleek and timeless.”
The retailer is heralding the arrival of the Bosch SKUs via an Aug. 2 email ad and display ads within homedepot.com directing users to a page within the site listing more than 110 Bosch home appliances such as dishwashers, washers, refrigerators, microwaves and electric cooktops. In stores, signs affixed to Bosch washers and dryers dangle up to 25% off select “appliance special buys” from LG Electronics, Samsung, General Electric and Bosch from Aug. 8-22.
The retailer also deployed its own media release spotlighting the partnership and positioning Bosch appliances as ideal for urbanites living in small spaces. An 18-inch Bosch dishwasher and 24-inch refrigerators, washers and dryers from the brand were highlighted in the release.
"Bosch is most notable in its strength in dishwashers and products that solve for small space needs," David Passafiume, Home Depot merchandising vp, said in the release. "We're excited to have Bosch as a new partner and to bring this new innovation to our customers."
Bosch appliances are also available at channel rival Lowe's.
